What's it like at La Grande Nazarene?

Our church is made up of people just like you. We have folks from all walks of life with every kind of story imaginable. Here you won't be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation because we believe that God's grace is for everyone. And we invite you to come as you are and dress how you feel most comfortable because we believe what's on the inside is more important than what's on the outside.

What happens during Sunday Worship?

In total, our Sunday Worship Gathering usually lasts about an hour and a half in length. Worship begins with our worship team leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can participate in worship however you feel most comfortable. After a few worship songs our pastor shares an encouraging and hope-filled message from the Bible. We typically finish with one last song of worship to close out our time together.

Where should I go when I arrive?

We have designated visitor parking at the front of the church you are welcome to use so you don't have any trouble finding a parking spot. As you come in the doors of our main entrance you will be greeted by our hospitality team who are happy to answer any questions you may have. Coffee, tea, and other refreshments are available for your enjoyment at our welcome center in the foyer. Feel free to mingle in the foyer for a few moments or head right in to the sanctuary. You are welcome to sit anywhere you feel most comfortable. 

What about my kids?

Our church values kids and wants them to feel like church is a place for them too. Our Kid's Church experience provides a fun & safe environment where kids can learn all about God's great love & BIG plans for their lives. Kids start out in the sanctuary and join the rest of the congregation for a portion of worship before heading out to Kid's Church. On the last Sunday of the month we have our Family Worship Sunday where kids are provided activity packs for a hands-on way they can worship right along with the rest of us.
